Just got Custer's Revenge in the mail

This game is comic gold, and better gameplay than alot of people here said. My current top score is 132, how far have other people gotten?

I foget my high score but CR is a good game. You should pick up Beat'em & Eat'em also. It's even better IMO. But batchlor Party is laim. I don't know why the Mystique games get such a bad wrap they are quite fun.

CR never struck me as a good game. Cathouse Blues is the only game of that genre I found at all interesting; even that tends to be a bit too hard IMHO (the mugger is too fast).

I once had CR boxed and complete. It was nice to have but I needed money so off it went.

 

Carts like this make a lot of money, despite being novelties that shouldn't get much of a look from anyone.

Knight on the town is a neat concept for a game. Take away the naughty part and make a regular game of it. Comical and fun, I thought.

 

Great looking copy of CR. Never opened mine to see what it looks like inside...

That is one of those titles I want, just because the whole concept of the game is so out there. I just always forget about it when I'm looking at games to purchase.

I have a copy CIB too that I got a while back. I love it for the novelty value, and because it is just so wrong, but I definitely wouldn't say it was a good game. Not the WORST 2600 game maybe, but a contender. Same goes for Beat 'Em.... When you've got Kabooom!, why would you really want to play this for the gameplay?

I'm not sure what my high score is either. I think I was probably distracted by the... er... graphics. Custer's Revenge is one of my favorites. I like having the x-rated games in my collection. Most of them are playable and good for a laugh and people are always surprised when they see them.

I'm at the point in my collection where I am starting to seek out these games. I think X-man is probably the most fun, but CR is pretty good too.

I've got CIB copies of Custer and Beat 'Em. They certainly aren't the best games out there, but people always want to see them. They can't believe there were "X" rated 2600 video games.

 

While I don't keep high score lists, I'm pretty sure that 132 was broken during at least one party where the two were out for play

Actually, I'm somewhat sickened by the premise of Beat 'Em And Eat 'Em, and yet... I'm unable to part with it.

Is it just me or am I the only disturbed by the concept of this game? The whole adult rated games was a bit of a joke for most were heavy on innuendo and little else although Beat em and Eat em, Philly Flasher, X-Man, Custers Revenge and the female verison of it were unmistakeble in their sexual content

X-Man is my favorite of the bunch. New years eve, 6 drunk guys sitting around a tv, not believing me that x-rated games exist.

 

Ah I love the atari 2600. Definitely the most unique system out there.

For owning an actual cart, I'd say that CR would be the best one...because all of the "X-rated" titles are pretty dull in terms of gameplay. At least with CR, it's got the destinction of being the first on the 2600...and the "Custer" character is probably the only game character in history that had to defend itself against sex crime allegations

Well I introduced one of my best friends to Custer tonight and we both got really into it, both beating eachothers scores, at first it was my 132, then I beat my own score and got 197, astoundingly he came out of nowhere and got 298, I tied that and he got 328 after that, we smoked alot of weed tonight so it was basically all we did, after more weed I scored 534! 534! Is that a world record? For all people who actually sat for hours and tried to get better, it's crazy, the gameplay actually is pretty good, you can almost predict where the arrows will hit next.

 

Custer is the coolest video game mascot EVER.

I may have been dreaming, but a while back wasn't there a discussion about x-rated games, and someone created a bunch of new homebrew adult games? If I am recalling correctly, they were not too bad game play wise either. This would be a new line of games for Salem Frost to sell.
