boolittlek #1 Posted January 19, 2002 This was one of my favorites from 3rd/4th grade. I'm brand new to all this emulation stuff. I downloaded the rom and StellaX v1.1.3a. My sidewinder controller seems to only control the left joystick. I'd like it to control the right joystick, if possible, as it's the one used for moving the character and controlling the objects. Any suggestions? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but again, I'm new. Thanks very much.
MattyXB #2 Posted January 19, 2002 I think this is not working. You cannot change to the other joystick. You must play this with the keyboard. Maybe on other emulator is this working, but I don't know. You must try it. This is my favourite game too. But if you want it to play with joystick, then buy the console and the game and play it on the real console.
sonnenhexer #3 Posted January 19, 2002 Raiders of the lost Ark was a great game, I got the cart a few days ago on eBay. Michael
StanJr #4 Posted January 20, 2002 I agree with Matty, I know of no way to switch joysticks on the emu. You'll have to make do with the keyboard, its really tough to do. Some games just don't emulate well.
Nukey Shay #5 Posted January 20, 2002 I use a Gravis Gamepad pro...it came with a "keyset manager" program that allows you to remap the controller to ANY keys in any program (even non-game programs like explorer, notepad, etc). Dunno about Stella, but PCAE (PC Atari) version 2.2 added remapping for Sidewinder controllers. I thought that at least one emulator had a "swap joystick" function, but I couldn't find it. King Atari #6 Posted January 20, 2002 Mine works fine on PCAE, if you use keyboard. One set of control keys control one controller, the other set control the other. So, this doesn't really answer the joystick question, but hope that helps.
