7800Lover #1 Posted April 8, 2006 (edited) I've been playing this game via Mame and it's quite fun. I honestly think it's much better than the NES version we were graced with. Punch-Out is a boxing game from Nintendo made in 1984. Check out the link for more info: Punch-Out entry on KLOV . You play a green wireframe boxer who dukes it out with Glass Joe, Piston Hurricane, Bald Bull, Kid Quick, Pizza Pasta, and the champ, Mr. Sandman to win the World Video Boxing Association's title belt. Is there anyone else out there who loves this game? Do you like it better than the NES port we ended up getting? dalton4life #2 Posted April 8, 2006 The arcade Punch-Out!! is one of my favorite arcade games of all time and it's what made boxing one of my favorite game genres. Mike Tyson's Punchout never did the arcade game justice. I think most fans of that game didn't play the arcade version. However, Super-Punchout!! on SNES was in many way better than the arcade IMO.
