jpfalcon2003 #2 Posted April 12, 2006 Has any of you complete all 3 levels? I only got to the 3rd level, never completing yet. I haven't but i know someone has. Go to the high score club for checking out tips to beat games. I just found out about that section recently. hopefully the games i need some help with will be in there to help me. StanJr #3 Posted April 13, 2006 there is no beating it. After the fourth temple, you just start over again at the first one (I think, or the 4th repeats) and you just keep going until you max the score. But that said, its a wonderful game and lots of fun. Godzilla #4 Posted April 13, 2006 thats funny, this being a later game and especially the type of game that it is with a set number of board layouts/etc. I always assumed it had an ending...
vdub_bobby #5 Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) Go to the HSC thread, that'll tell you all you want to know; it repeats the 3rd level (not the 4th) forever. EDIT: I have beaten the 3rd level. In the HSC a guy - can't remember his name offhand - won that week with 500,000+ points, beating the 3rd level over and over probably 20 times. Vic George 2K3 #6 Posted April 13, 2006 Went through all 3 levels once upon a time. Not a bad game.
Bruce Tomlin #7 Posted April 13, 2006 Yes, there are three levels, I've disassembled it. If you want to see how far you can go, copy the ROM image, use a hex editor program to change the byte at offset 05EC to 00, then you will still die, but never lose any lives. I posted an unlimited lives hack a while back for Montezuma's Revenge that runs on stella with the "type -e0" option from the command line, if you don't want to change the value in the debugger yourself. You can download it here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=81275. There's also a complete map for all three levels hosted here at AtariAge: http://atariage.com/2600/archives/strategy...nge_Level1.html Steve Edited April 13, 2006 by Atarius Maximus
StanJr #9 Posted April 14, 2006 Yes, those maps are very nice. Where have you been Maximus?

stop_rebel_scum #11 Posted April 14, 2006 Yes, it's a great game. If you get the right pattern and keep going through the third temple, it should be easy enough to roll the score. I just got bored at 539000... the real action is on the 5200 (great version) coleco (uber-tough jumps, fast enemies) sega master (huge game, much easier, still tons of fun) and presumably c64 (don't own it)
