nintendo 72 pin connectors?

Recommended Posts

i don't trust ebay sellers to sell me a brand new connector. Does anyone know of a reputable seller in the U.S. that i could buy from, or maybe a reputable seller on ebay that someone has had good experiences with? Either that or buy a top loader which isn't necessarily blink-proof either. Comments? Suggestions?

Or just fix your own...

A really simple fix is to open up the NES, take out the cart slot, scrub it with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush, dry it off (canned air works best), put it together and play.

In addition to Keilbaca's suggestion, I'd also heartily recommend the pin bending method for really stubborn problems. I've used it now to fix 4 NES consoles. Just remember that you won't need to push the cart down after you've inserted it (and also remember to clean the connectors on all your carts until they squeak.)
