JagFan422 #2 Posted April 17, 2006 looks like the residue left over from the label or possibly mold.
Josh #3 Posted April 17, 2006 okey dokey it seems my repro cart will be a little less authentic since mold is dangerous

Shawn #8 Posted April 18, 2006 First problem is thats not an activision style label. Here is one I use for my "activision" size boards\shells. Activision labels are longer and thiner than ATARI labels. ATARI labels are 2.75w x 3.41L and Activsion labels are 2.65w x 4.30L (in inches). Best of luck with your creation. Hope this label gives you a head start.
shadow460 #9 Posted April 19, 2006 I thought the case had part of the label left behind, like when you remove a price label and it separates in the middle, leaving the bottom layer behind. I'm the one who asked for the remake. I'm looking for something in an Activision case, since that's who made the game. I realize that might be harder to do than putting it into a standard Atari case. Given that the game was found in a salvage yard, that stain might be some kind of dried up oil or grease. I realize that it's going to be difficult to determine what kind of toxic waste graces the "label" on the Activision 2 cart. As long as it looks like it's been sitting in the sun for a few years, it's OK. It doesn't necessarily have to look exactly like the picture. Dust is optional. Anything more, well, I probably don't want to put my hands on it, either! If nothing else, a plain black Activision case is fine, too.

Serious, though, I don't sell games on my own. I might pick up something for someone if it's available in a store here, but that's it. As for Activision 2, I liked the game, and I wanted it on cart.
