vwyob #1 Posted March 3, 2002 HELP!!! I just bought a job lot of 4 vectrex units and one of them is the american version . I'm in the uk and crap at electrics/electronics. Is there a way i can still run this over here ? Does this apply to all electrical goods from the U.S as i am expecting a synth to come over as well......Yours with gnashing teeth and clenched sphincta !!! the yob AArrggghhhh!! VidGameKing #2 Posted March 3, 2002 You know what i've found, it is if you buy one of those inverters for your car that turns the 12v DC into 120 V AC you can power one of those, all you need to do is pick up a wall adaptor that would provide enough amps to power one. You'd have to have it imported from the US or canada. I use the same technique but only with an inverter from the UK and a TV from the UK and the game systems from the UK and it works great.
