+Omegamatrix #1 Posted April 17, 2006 (edited) I've wipped off my hard drive after two years of use, and while re-installing all my files again I found a zip file of a bunch of Atari box scans. Where and when I downloaded it I have no idea, but I've identified everything except the following: I believe these to be Quelle boxes, but I'm unsure of how to categorize them. I've grouped the different box styles together. So what style is: 1. Angriff Der Luftlotten -to- Top Gun 2. Weltraum-Tunnel 3. Bobby Geht Heim -to- Mission 3000 4. Wüstenschlacht -to- Super-Ferrari I got these different categories off Atarimania: a. Puzzy / Bit Corporation b. Quelle c. Quelle / Bit Corporation d. Quelle / Spectravideo If you can match that to a box style please help (or let me know each game individually). Finally I found this, but have no idea what company it's from. It looks similar to a Taiwan Cooper, but does anyone know for certain? Edited April 17, 2006 by Omegamatrix

+Omegamatrix #3 Posted April 19, 2006 Thanks Rom, got all those straightened out now. I find the See-Monster box interesting. The Puzzy Seamonster is much the same. Are Puzzy and Bit Corporation related, or did one pirate another?
Rom Hunter #4 Posted April 20, 2006 Puzzy and Bit Corporation are most certainly related. I don't think they pirated each other, because the Bit Corp copyright is still mentioned on Puzzy carts and the model numbers are exactly the same. Puzzy is known as the brand under which NTSC Canadian (with their English-French title) versions of Bit Corporation games were sold, but there are also Puzzy PAL versions known (with only the English title). Known Puzzy games: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft-MENU-2-...TEUR_ID-27.html
Spirantho #5 Posted April 20, 2006 there are also Puzzy PAL versions known (with only the English title). Are these confirmed to exist? I've yet to see a PAL Puzzy game at all (though many PAL games say "Puzzy" on them - like the Goliath ones).

I've yet to see a PAL Puzzy game at all (though many PAL games say "Puzzy" on them - like the Goliath ones). I'm not talking about the Goliath games here. Despite the possibility that Puzzy could have released two different NTSC box and cartridge versions of the same game, I'm still convinced that these are the PAL counterparts of the Canadian NTSC versions with the English-French titles: They were found on GameReset, a German PAL database, I've never heard of a NTSC collector who owns these, and I dont think that Goliath made any PAL conversions, so I'm leaning towards PAL. But if anyone can proof me wrong, please do. The fact is that they exist and that there are more traces leading towards PAL than towards NTSC at this moment. +Omegamatrix #7 Posted April 20, 2006 (edited) Spirantho, I looked on the PAL cart database and didn't see these. Any guess how rare they are? The few Puzzy boxes I've seen on eBay were English-French as well. All were from Canada. Here's Space Tunnel: Edit: Spirantho I mean I looked for the Puzzy carts Rom posted that weren't English-French. First day with the new grammer skills. Rom Hunter #8 Posted April 20, 2006 All Puzzy carts with an English-French title are NTSC, so that one is not in the PAL database.
