magnavox odyssey question

okay, in another thread i stated that at a thrift store near here has a magnavox odyssey for sale. but, now i'm not sure that's what it is. it does say magnavox odyssey on it, but it does not look like ones i see pictured on the internet. it is not an odyssey2, there is no cartridge slot and there is no keyboard. on the front are three (vertical) switches, one of which is a difficulty switch. also on the front is a slide switch (horizontal) to select the game you want to play (like hand-ball etc.). it also has joysticks that look similar to that of an odyssey2.

 

if this was an odyssey2, wouldn't it have a keyboard and cartridge slot?

You are probably seeing one of the dedicated consoles that played Pong style games. Magnavox used the Odyssey name for this line as well. I doubt it is worth anything. (Unless you like Pong, I suppose.)
