NES Chiller.

Is NES Chiller pretty rare? It looks unique, and I'd like to get a copy. Although, from what I've heard, the premise is really, really, sick. Please help me out.

It is very rare, being an unlicensed title. You'll be hard pressed to find a copy, let alone cheaply.

I have a copy of it for the NES that I could trade to you (seeing as I also have the game included on my MAXI 15 cart). I'm mostly looking for NES stuff in trade, but there's a few Coleco and Atari games I'd like as well.

It may be sick, but the graphics are pretty bad so it can be somewhat comical at times. Probably one of the better NES light gun games.

You mean Death Race. Death Derby is the name of my port in progress.

 

Chiller has some really cool audio also. Lots of cool reverb-laden squeals and cackles and things. I doubt the NES version has audio that matches the coinop.

I t should be noted that Chiller (NES version ) CAN be played without the Zapper, however, this makes it almost impossibly difficult. Just FYI.

Thanks to Raccoon Lad, I'm now the proud owner of Chiller. Finally, I have an NES game that's actually rare. And although it's bizarre to the max, it's really not that bad of a game.

I love playing Chiller and all the similar games (Crossbow Etc....) on MAME. You can use the mouse to aim the curser. You thought Chiller was nasty on the NES!!???

Hey cool. I have Chiller but it just blinks when I plug it into my NES. I have some other toughies to find like Master Chu and Drunkard Fu, Quattro Arcade, Venice Beach Volleyball, and Pesterminator. They all just blink too.... Guess I'm out of luck till I get a new connector....

i used to have pesterminator ,but it was sold when i sold my old collection back in the early 90's

 

I have all the Quattro carts (i have all but one Camerica game left to get), but the one i really want is the Maxi-15 or just Chiller one or the other would be fine with me as i love the blood and guts

The NES and Arcade versions are pretty identical, except the arcade version is slightly more gory (but no less sick).
