Another old console deal...

The same guy that offered me the FairChild Channel F has another offer. I'm kinda embarrased to say... *blush* but I dont have a ColecoVision! (phew, I got it over with, I got it over with, I got it over with...) Anyway, he's offering me a ColecoVision with Centipede, Dance Fantasy (I would like to know if this is a "dirty" game or not... its sounds like it and I dont like those games!) and Defender, for $45. Should I buy? I DO like Colecovision...

$45 is definately on the expensive side, but if you want it, I say go for it.

heh i payed $75 for mine

 

it had all the hook ups and came with 3 games (DK, DK jr and looping) and the Atari 2600 adaptor

 

and i know i payed to damn much for that

I know a certain website that sells Colecovisions for $30 + shipping. Now I just have to see if I have any left (sold a couple of them in the last couple weeks)

This was before i ever had a computer, and it was from a flea market, double ouch

 

i would have known better if i had a clue of the real worth, but i wanted one so badly i just got his.

 

he had another one about a year later i was thinking of getting for a back up but when he said $65 for just the console & hook ups i told him i will give him $20 for it, he said no way and there it sat for the entire summer untill he said he sold it for $30

I'd trade you for it.. Dance Fantasy isn't the easiest title to get for the Colecovision (for rather obvious reasons).

 

The really weird thing is, the game (if you can call it that) came out for a whole whack of different systems. Yet Seaquest only came out for the 2600. There is no God.

you're talking about lots of items i want to get rid of:

 

- fisher price catalog, mint condition

 

- frogger 2, donkey kong and miners 2049 for coleco, all 3 near mint condition

 

please help me, they're collecting dust in my tradebox since half a year

I remember the first "bad" Atari game I played. My dad got me (it didnt have the cover) "Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em", thinking it was a fighter or a shooter... only when we turne it on, it was porn! DEMONS COME OUT!!!!!!! (ok, kiddin' on the demon part.)

Well, if you don't mind buying online, there's a lot of good dealers out there who will give you good deals (thought obviously not at Thrift store prices).
