BrianC #1 Posted April 22, 2006 (edited) I just received the Marble Craze and Telegames Bump 'n Jump from Atari Age today. Excellent shipping and very well packed. Marble Craze is my first homebrew game on an actual cart. It plays great with on my SEARS/Telegames Video Arcade with actual paddles. Cool music too! Oddly enough, the Telegames Bump 'n Jump doesn't fit in my SEARS/Telegames video system six switcher (I thought it was a light sixer, but now I'm not so sure. It plays every other game I tried, including Imagic games, which, oddly enough, work on my newer model 7800 too), but it works great on my 7800. Is this a common problem with Telegames re-releases? Will the game fit in a 2600 Jr. or other model 2600? However, despite the Telegames Bump 'n Jump not working on my SEARS/Telegames video system, I'm quite satisifed with my first Atari Age purchase and I will definatly purchase more games from them. Also, at least Bump 'n Jump works and that's the main thing. Edited April 22, 2006 by BrianC
BrianC #2 Posted April 22, 2006 Where can I find more info on Telegames carts? Will the Bump 'n Jump fit inside other older 2600 models and the Jr.? The Sears/Telegames Video System I have is a six switcher with black plastic. The Telegames Bump 'n Jump was the only game I tried with it that didn't fit. Do other Telegames carts have trouble fitting in this model of the Sears/Telegames video system? Is there a way to mod the carts?
BrianC #3 Posted April 22, 2006 Never mind. I found the answer here in the forums, though, oddly enough, I had to use an outside search with +Telegames +2600 +"M-Network" to find it. http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35286

BrianC #6 Posted April 29, 2006 Bump n Jump...awesome game....should be remade, too Out of curiousity, why? The 2600 one isn't perfect, but it's a darn good port.
