I don't have a PowerSupply but he said I would need a tip or somthing to put one the end of the plug to make it work for the 2600.Can somone write me down a list of stuff i'm gonna need?

What sort of power does an Atari take?

Input: 120VAC 60Hz

Output: 9VDC 500mA

Polarity: Center +, Outer -

Just goto radio shack and tell them you need a power adapter with these specs and an RF switch. You'll be fine after that Atari Master.

While those are the correct specs...the "tip" that was being referred to...is the fact that the 2600 power supply adapter is an 1/8th inch phono plug. Most other game systems used Barrel style plugs. So go in there with those specs and tell them the plug end needs to be 1/8th inch phono...looks like the plug on headphones.
