Planet Bob - Graftgold Amiga Summary

Hi there!

 

So, now that I'm done with all Amiga titles from Graftgold, I'm again gonna summarize a bit.

 

Unlike the C64 titles, I reviewed all available Amiga games. They all were generally of a pretty high quality standard, so the ratings below are more or less just a reflection of my taste. If there's a title striking your interest, better have a second look at it yourself

 

Additionally I list "The Ottifants" here, because it just doesn't fit anywhere else

 

So, here's the ratings for those titles, again using my patented "Binary Rating System" BRS :

Fire and Ice

Virocop

 

Overall I have to say that checking out all those games was great fun. I rediscovered some old favourites (Paradroid, Uridium) and found some new (Virocop!!!), filling some of the gaps in my personal gaming history

 

In the near future, I think I'm gonna focus on finishing Colony 7 development for a while. Besides that I have a few games I plan to check out a little closer, so I may possibly write a few more "Beating ..." articles. Uridium 2 is a good candidate for that. I'll also gonna revisit "Antiriad" (Rad Warrior for you Americans ) and will have a look at console versions of Commandos/Mercs, Gauntlet and Arkanoid, so there's always an article or two possible...

 

I'd be interested in some feedback, regarding the whole series of articles regarding Graftgold. Once Colony 7 is out of the door, I could imagine doing something similar regarding "Sensible Software", having a closer look at stuff like Wizball and Cannon Fodder (I won't do the sports games though! )
