Was offered a Vectrex...what should I give/pay?

By now I'm sure ALL of you have seen my trade list....lol... ..So yall KNOW what I got to offer...

Having that said, the guy is willing to do cash or trade goods. He's got a Vectrex...it's bare-bones....just the built-in game, no others, and he sent me pics. He tells me the screen is perfect quality, but cosmeticially its about a 7.5. (There are a few mars and bumps in the plastic housing) Sooooooo.....what should I offer??

Just a note: make sure it also includes the joystick. Those are hard to come by...

The joystick alone often sells for $30-$35 so you would want to be sure that it is included. You also would want to check to see if the joystick is 100% working. A lot of the Vectrex joysticks do not self center or has fire button issues.

 

I have a Vectrex that I will be listing on eBay in the next week or so but it has audio issues. The sound cuts out from time to time. If anyone is interested in the one that I have let me know. The controller works and the screen is in good shape.

Heh, I kind of doubt that. Two years ago, I got mine for around seventy bucks, thanks to a hot tip from the fine folks at AtariAge. Did I ever thank you guys for that? If not, thanks!

I got mine a couple years back and I think it ended up costing about a hundred bucks with two controllers, one of the controllers ended up not working though, when I play Minestorm with it the ship just spins around in a circle without touching the controller at all, kind of weird, anybody ever hear of that happening to a Vectrex controller?

You got a boxed Vectrex for that price?!?! A boxed one sells for a hell of a lot more than a loose one.
