Where some players will have voice chat capability, others will not; some will have gamepads, others mouse & keyboard; some can't patch their client because they run from DVD, others can? Seems doubtful to me. M$ is trying to keep the XBL experience consistent.

From the preview article in this month or last months EGM you will be able to play Too Human with your fellow PC gamers at least in certain area's. I also saw rumors that PSU would feature this ability, but I don't think that has been confirmed.

It's really unlikely you'll ever see a Live - PC connection. Among many other reasons, the fact that it would open the door to a million asshole cheating [email protected] is enough in itself.

Like I said there is already one in development for sure. It's not Too Human though, It's a game called Huxley.

Whether or not they will pull it off remains to be seen. I don't think the game comes out until the fall.

It looks promising. I don't think the idea of a MMOFPS is so far fetched as people think. People are very skeptical of this game. I think the RTSS (Real-Time Strategy Shooter) genre was completely pulled off with "Savage: The Battle for Newerth". If you haven't played that game check it out... it is awesome. If that game can do what it did with RTS I think this can be successful.

 

As far as the PC and 360 interconnecting users... look at FFXI. That connects players from many platforms (would have been nice if the game to represent it was a good one.)
