TI-99 (/4A I think)

yes i would and have

 

i own 2 of these in there boxes 1 black one sliver

 

payed $15 for one with 2 games

and

$25 for the other with 9 games and a bunch of accessories

Thanks, it had one cart (some home financing thing). There was a controller next to the box. Is that part of it? What kind of controllers does it use?

the joysticks look like the Atari 2600 paddles, one connector with 2 joysticks attached and the joysticks look alittle like the sears atari 2800 joysticks seen here

I never knew they made Pole Position for the TI, wow! The TI was the first computer I ever owned, but was so sloooowwww for programming, I wish I had bought a Vic instead. But I sure learned a lot about computing on it.

There's a rather large number of cartridge-based software available for the TI 99/4a. I collect these carts, and I must have hundreds of them. Maybe half of them are label variations, but even then there's a lot of TI 99/4a software. Here in Texas both the systems and the software seem pretty easy to come by, for some odd reason.

 

For a great TI 99/4a site, check out http://www.99er.net/. You can spend a lot of time looking at all the great TI 99 info there.
