Whats the best place to get a refurbished Saturn online?

The Sega Saturn System I own and got online doesn't work correctly it can only read CDs for a limited amount time or is limited in reading them and then it goes to the Saturn system menu, I tried to fix this problem by opening it and doing as people told me to do but that didn't work really, it still acted the same. I can be in a middle of a game and then all of a sudden the disk reading screws up and I'm back at the Saturn Menu again with a disk read error. There are nothing wrong with my disks since they don't really have scratches on them.

 

I want to know a place online where I can get a refurbished Sega Saturn, can anyone help?

I don't know of anyplaces that have refurbished Saturns.

If it were me, I'd just scour ebay for a replacement.

Not specifically refurbed, but you can get a saturn from $25 at http://www.vintagefunworld.com/. I've had good luck ordering Genny stuff from them.

Check out http://www.oldschoolgamer.ca/ They can either fix yours or sell you a refurbished one. I had them do mods to my 7800 and Dreamcast, and both came out great.

My Saturn is basically dead, note to self get Saturns that have been tested. I didn't made the Saturn like that though, it came like that but the problem is getting worse. Hopefully when I get another Saturn it won't turn out that way.

ive found the cd roms in saturns to be really good (esp compaired to the Dreamcast)... so im assuming you had just a weird fluke, you shouldnt have such bad luck next time.

Edit: I bought a Saturn from TradeNgames today, because the other place was out of the USA and I fear that customs would take it away or force me to pay insane taxes.

 

Oh well at least I got a new Saturn to look forward to, since it just shipped.

 

I usually only order stuff in the US since I live in the US, because I fear of Customs taking the package away.

Well I have gotten a Saturn on Ebay before and that was the one that didn't really work that well and ended up dying. Actually it was doa when I got it. It can play games for awhile and then the disk reading screws up and goes back to the Saturn menu.
