A couple days a go I started to smell the Blue Smoke leaking out of my iMac G5. Today it will turn on, but will turn itself off during the boot sequence

 

Given the warning, I had time to make sure all my important files were backed up, including the source for Medieval Mayhem(I can also download it from here, though I'd have to redo a couple days of changes). I'm currently online using my old ThinkPad.

 

Apple extended the warranty on the iMac for this problem. I also have AppleCare and would have been covered under that as well. I've already dropped it off at CompUSA (one of Apple's authorized repair centers) but the night crew couldn't give me an ETA.
