Chris-in-NJ #1 Posted May 7, 2006 I had to stop in my local PathMark this morning, and they've got one of those Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga Reunion coin-ops inside. This time, though, it had a menu screen on its display with nine games on it. Turns out this was screen 7 of 7, and it had Super Pac-Man on it, as well as Jr. Pac-Man and some early Nintendos like Donkey Kong and its two sequels, etc. On the attract modes it said something like "the games never end." The display said "CREDIT 2/2" on it, so I played a round of Jr. Pac-Man, to compare it with the 5200 version, and when I was done it still had a credit in it (though each game costs 50 cents to play normally) and tried a round of Super Pac-Man, which I don't think I've playd since 1982 or so... Is this thing legal? I doubt Namco would include Nintendo games in the same cabinet, would they? BTW this machine has been in this PathMark for over a year now, and this is the first time I've seen the menu screens.

It has 39 arcade classics on one board, and no, it is not licensed by any company, for obvious reasons. +FujiSkunk #3 Posted May 7, 2006 (edited) It could be just a 9-in-1 also. There'a 9-in-1 at a pizza shop not too far from where I live. Either way, it's definitely not legal, and it didn't come from Namco. The original Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga innards had to have been swapped out. Crazy Climber #4 Posted May 7, 2006 The boards are totally illegal. They make them overseas and ship them over. They are availible in 9 in 1 and 39 in 1. The 9 in 1 you can customize any nine games you want from the 39 availible including Nintendo titles and if I know Nintendo they will shut this operation down so buy quick if your looking. This website should answer any other questions http://www.lizardlickamusements.com/pages/boards.shtml
Crazy Climber #5 Posted May 7, 2006 I just noticed they have a 48 in 1 now also with nine new games on it, sweet!!! Too bad you need a vertical monitor or I would totally buy one, Damn!
Chris-in-NJ #6 Posted May 8, 2006 It was indeed a 39-in-one, there were six screens of nine games each, and one of three. Checking out the Aussie site, I recognize some of the titles, ie I remember Super Cobra being on the screen with Super Pac-Man.

Do they ship fast, and how's their customer service? Thanks
HyperspaceArcade.com #8 Posted May 11, 2006 Namco would come down hard on the owner of that place. Not legal... and honestly you have to be careful buying them as there are several people making them, and many are making them to work just long enough to cash your check. One company's corner cutting version is basically a throw away when it breaks.... and it will.
