Nintendo Penguin #1 Posted February 7, 2002 Hi all, Thought I would ask this just for fun: What do you guys think the easiest NES game was?
utamav91 #2 Posted February 7, 2002 Excitebike, the original NES golf (not the NES Open--that was tough), or Duck Hunt.
liquid_sky #3 Posted February 8, 2002 Wild Gunman was very easy.
ubersaurus #4 Posted February 8, 2002 Sesame Street Countdown.

liquid_sky #8 Posted February 8, 2002 Duck Hunts easy but Wild Gunman involves no aim just pull the trigger.
Adrian M #9 Posted February 8, 2002 The original "Baseball" game. I could beat the computer at that game any time I played.
KAZ #10 Posted April 21, 2002 What about Mega Man 2? This is what was so enthralling about the game, the first Mega Man was impossibly difficult, AND you had to somehow beat the whole dam game in one sitting (wtf). Mega Man 2 was so enjoyable because it was relatively easy to beat the bosses, especially if you went in a rational order. Well maybe it wasn't that easy (Dr. Wily's 1st stage against that flying dragon didn't seem very easy to me) Mega Man 2 rocks, nuff said

Flashback to the 80's where I'm a kid with no money and it takes months to save up and buy anything, let alone an NES cartridge. However, when MegaMan 2 hit I had to have it. I earned as much as possible, sold stuff, did chores etc and bought it one glorious evening after school. What sucked is that I beat half the game the same night. I was pretty dissapointed that the game I thought about every day for months was so easy for me. It even got to the point where I wasn't writing down passwords, just to make it last longer. I'm pretty sure I finished it in 5 days regardless. It is still one of my most favourite games to this day though
snorlaxnut #13 Posted July 25, 2007 Shadowgate. Once I knew how to get through all the puzzles, I could beat that game in a half hour.
2600Lives #14 Posted July 25, 2007 I'd say Double Dragon 2. Once you figure out how to do the Hyper Knee attack, enemies fall left and right quick as you please. Even bosses only take a few shots of that before going down. I rented it, beat it my very first time through, and went back through it like 5 more times before having to take it back. Gregory DG #16 Posted July 25, 2007 Gotta go with Duck Hunt too. Especially if you're right close to the TV.
Emehr #17 Posted July 25, 2007 Wizards & Warriors (with its endless continues) is pretty easy, although the last boss can make the pulse race...just a little... Also, Kirby's Adventure and Renegade come to mind.

AtticGamer #22 Posted July 28, 2007 Donkey Kong and Kirby. Zelda is very hard and don't even talk about Zelda II.
Great Hierophant #23 Posted July 28, 2007 Mega Man 2 is a little easy, on the "normal" setting. However, the "difficult" setting is the game's true difficulty setting, and the difficulty is more in line with the rest of the series. I say this because the Japanese original did not have a difficulty setting and the game played as though it were on the "difficult" setting.
