what's the deal with CV's 2010?

Ok, a little frustrated with this game. I love the gameplay for some reason or another, so i finally "fixed" all the damaged circuits, and yet. . . .my ship still crashed into said planet. so what's the deal, what am i missing. It was quite disheartening to finally fix all the problems only to see my beautiful ship dashed to pieces, please advise.

Did you press zero on the keypad to start the engines? If you don't start the engines you can't fly away.

Jenga. . .i guess that's what i get for not having overlays or manuals. thanks for the tip, that game is truly addictive now.

2010 is a great game that rarely gets mentioned but I love it. On the harder levels it's really challenging to stay ahead of the damaged circuits. I really like the graphics on it too.

CV 2010 is an excellent game to test refurbed CV controllers with also..hehe...all buttons just about used or at least most of them.

It's my favorite game on the CV, hands down. I once beat it at skill level 4, and that victory tasted very sweet!

I love that game over music. It's really crazy sounding with synth-like filter sweeps and sample and hold sounds.
