Uihjha... who'd have thought that! They really survived somehow!

 

They even have a Homepage of their own

 

The story seems to be, that they got bought out by Codemasters, with them more or less coming to their rescue. It seems that even these very days they also launch a brandnew version of Sensible Soccer

 

Anyway, that reminded me that I wanted to do a series of articles regarding the classic Sensible Software titles, pretty much like I recently did for Graftgold.

 

As I said before though, I won't get into the sports titles, so I'll skip all their tennis, soccer and golf games. I also won't cover any of their joke games, like "Sim Brick" and "Sensible Trainspotting"

 

The list of titles I want to feature here looks like this:

There's one thing I feel I must mention regarding Sensible Soccer nevertheless though: Remember my favourite band "The Damned"? Their guitarist "Captain Sensible" was hired back then to compose the title tune. I think that was one of the first occasions, were a "real" musician did the music for a computer game
