Phillyclassic Picture

I have just returned from two excellent days at Phillyclassic. Here is a picture for everyone who couldn't make it:

 

 

That Albert (from Atariage) on the right in the white shirt, next to him is John Hardie from CGExpo in the Black shirt, and I believe that's Tempest with his back to the camera. I'll try to put up more pics later.

Sorry, it has already ended, but with the success of this year, I think there is no doubt that there will be another.

And one more pic. If you like handhelds this was the booth to be at. They had pretty much everyone one you could imagine on display.

There were about six of these hand helds that I wanted to buy but my wife put an end to that thought, she said I was there to buy 2600 carts and nothing else. I think I'll leave her home next year.

that handheld/tabletop system vendor was amazing! And the sickest thing is, just about every one of those were running simulataneously!! Talk about psychotic ambiance!

I think the handhelds guy deserves major kudos for taking all the time to bring that unbelievable collection out to the show to have them all running so people can play them, incredible!!! I got a front row seat across from all of them and I was thoroughly impressed!

I think that is me in the 3rd picture, Dan. Look at the furthest table near the wall, the guy with a black bag slung over his shoulder. Pretty sure that's me.

 

Show some more! I gotta get mine developed ... I need to buy a digital camera soon!

I took a ton of pictures at the show and I'm going through them right now to decide which ones to post on AtariAge. If I stop slacking here, I should be able to upload quite a few tonight and Alex can hopefully post them to the site tomorrow (along with the captions I'm writing up). I won't be back in Austin until Tuesday, so if he doesn't have time to post them they won't go online until then. Also, Joe Grand is going to send me all the pictures he took, so I'll probably be posting many of his as well.
