Crazy Climber #1 Posted May 18, 2006 I'm not expecting a lot of hits on this but here goes. I would be interested in purchasing some of the ultra rare games, rarity 10's that go for 4 digit prices like Gauntlet, Eli's Ladder, Karate Ultravision, Video Life, Magicard, Cubicolor and even the famous Air Raid in non working condition (Broken, unplayable) for a much smaller price of course. Games would have to have labels because that would be my main interest. I already own playable reproductions of these games and I would like real copys some day but there is a lot of other stuff I want to buy first. I think even a broken copy of any of these games would still look good in my collection so let me know if there is any out there for sale. Thanks

Great Idea, done it myself with PAL exclusives and put in NTSC repro's to have the original label\shell

Crazy Climber #5 Posted May 23, 2006 Im just talking about the crazy rare ones, I pretty much own every rarity 9 and even a couple 10's but games like Air Raid that go for crazy cash I wouldnt mind owning a dead one just to look at. I wouldnt bother trying to swap the board with my repro because I can just play my repro if I want to and I would risk ruining the label. If I ruin the label then whats the point of owning them when I already own repro's. Anyways I probably wouldnt pay much for them and the people that do own them broken might be swapping boards and passing them off as originals which would suck. I havent been offered anything I dont already own in working condition anyways so my guess is people who do own a broken Air Raid or Gauntlet probably want to keep it. I was just wondering if they were out there for sale.
Shawn #6 Posted May 23, 2006 (edited) Great Idea, done it myself with PAL exclusives and put in NTSC repro's to have the original label\shell http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88095 I would not do that to someone EVER. My BMX is 100 percent legit. I would stake my life on it. And well it's being sold ASAP so you can just ask the new owner when they recive it seeing as I gave the buyer a 100 perecent garuntee its totally facyory orginal NTSC. Joking or not that is kinda punching below the belt VGA. Edited May 23, 2006 by Shawn Sr.
