I need help to enable Darkstalkers 1 mode in Vampire Hunter (J) for Saturn

I tried out the B, X, Down, A, Y code on config and it didn't open up the Appendix Menu. Is there something wrong? BTW I'm using a Action Replay Plus 4 in 1 cart to play this game. So maybe I can get a cheat code to enable Darkstalkers 1 game from there?
