Hooking Up Multiple Classic Systems

Recommended Posts

I was at Radio Shack yesterday and they had one of those clearance tables, and I got an amplified 5in/3out coax RF switcher marked down from $70 to $15. Got a couple more Phono-to-F adapters and I was set. All the switches I've found previously were either too expensive or were for composite video.

All my systems all hooked up! (You can't see the 2600 cause it's out in front of the TV.)

They didn't at my Radio Shack. But you might check around.

Actually, I just checked completed items on Ebay and they do show up from time to time. Search for "Amplified Video Selector"

Boy that looks like a nice find. I've been looking for something like that, but am quite poor right now. I'll have to check out my RS.

That last picture looks quite familiar. (except I have my rubick's cubes on top of my colecovision right now.

Nice find.

I haven't looked yet but is there a switcher like that for composite video?

The tv i'm using only has 2 inputs 1 front and one rear.

I plan on redesigning my gaming area to set all my sytems on one tv and have more than 2 that can use composite video.

anyone who already has a good setup please let me know I'd like all opinions and i'll probably take parts from several people.

Composite switches are a lot easier to find. You can find them at Radio Shack, electronics stores, and most video game stores.
