I thought the whole idea behind the iPod, is the fact that you need to buy a whole new iPod, everytime it improves. They have no upgradeable features, right?

 

But I do love the games on the iPod, those are great. Oh, wait.

I think you forgot the word marketing in there.

 

Logically, if someone's current iPod is so good, they WON'T upgrade, because they don't need a new one.

But if the MARKETING is good, they WILL upgrade, because they've been convinced they need a new one.

That's some DAMN good marketing, and design. iPods happen to do everything that they're supposed to and do it well. Owners don't mind upgrading every couple of years because they're extremely satisfied with each version that they own. Apple is happy. The customers are happy.

Neither can I. That way, if my PSP gets stolen because I left it somewhere (like a moron), I can hunt the guy down who's got it and beat him up.
