Didn't Ultravision promise us a system?

Didn't Ultravision say that they were going to release a system once they were through with the 2600? I hated "Condor" Attack, but I liked Karate. I would have liked to see it on Ultravision's possible system.

I think what happened was that they pulled out of it when they saw the poor sales of their 2600 games, or the crash stopped them, whatever. Frankly, I don't think it would have turned out very well.

 

BTW, you like Karate?! I mean, you can enjoy whatever game you want (I like 2600 Double Dragon), but that game had NO control and the graphics were awful. Why the appeal?

Yeah, I know, most people hate Karate, but I think its cool. The control wa bad, but I got used to them, as Karate was one of my first 2600 games, so I played it a lot and liked it. I have gotten to the 7th level before, I dont know how many the game has!

You're right -- that's is MegaBug! I used to have a CoCo1 and that was my first game. What was it they said: "We've got you!" or something like that . . . I thought it was only a Tandy game? Do you collect for the CoCo now?

My brother had his letter to the Game Doctor printed in Electronic Games magazine back in '83.

 

His question: Who makes Ultravision?

 

The answer: Ultravision, Inc.

 

Pretty embarrassing, but then he was only eleven years old at the time. And he shouldn't have listened to me when I told him Larry Kaplan was going to make it.
