Video #3 Posted June 10, 2006 You'll probably have to get a universal and use that. Unless it uses a wild voltage or something. I had a NeoGeo at one time, but don't remember what it's power rating was.
JagFan422 #4 Posted June 10, 2006 its a funky end, there's no universal about it, thats why i said good luck.
Dusk2600 #5 Posted June 11, 2006 i wouldnt even take a neo with out a power supply. totally worthless.
JagFan422 #6 Posted June 11, 2006 (edited) yeah, neo geo cd is sorta rare let alone just the power supply. if he ever wants to play his Neo Geo he's going to probably buy a whole new system just for the power supply. I had no idea the P/S is as rare as you say it is.
Cassidy Nolen #8 Posted June 12, 2006 You could hack it...might not be the easiest thing to do but most connectors could be bypassed. If you know what voltage it needs going in, you could solder a pigtail connector and hang it out of the side. I would be suprized if someone on the web did not have an extra for sale. What about NeoGeo Freaks (or whatever their name was) online? Cassidy BTW, try estarland.com I know he sells Neo stuff...might have one there..

I have a Neo Geo CD, so I know, you cannnot go to Radio shack and buy a universal adapter because there is nothing made to connect to it that would fit in the Neo Geo CD. jerrykurtz #10 Posted June 12, 2006 The Neo Store at www.neo-geo.com has two of them in stock -- although at $55. Maybe you should post a message on their wanted list asking for one...
JagFan422 #11 Posted June 12, 2006 he needs to get one, these may not last too long. $55 is alot, and they know how hard these are to come by so they know people will pay $55 for a power supply. Its cheaper than the unit itself.
Mr. Postman #12 Posted June 13, 2006 I have an official SNK Neo Geo CD power supply if interested. It's got the strange 3 female-prong end, just what you're looking for. I'd be interested in 2600 trades, especially old cheap bootlegs.
