JB #3 Posted June 13, 2006 I wonder if they thought about any possible mixed messages that might be sent by replacing property with characters. Zelda seems vaguely whorish for some reaosn...

Albert #13 Posted June 18, 2006 That's pretty cool. I wonder how many officially licensed versions of Monopoly have been createdc over the years? Ahh, Wikipedia comes to the rescue: List of licensed Monopoly game boards I'm pretty sure I've seen others as well.. ..Al
Xot #14 Posted June 18, 2006 Sadly... I will be buying that. More sadly still... I have like 7 Monopoly Sets! I only have four, but I'll be wanting this one as well. We currently have two classic Monopolies, one from the 60's with the wooden houses and hotels, and a "standard" modern one, plus the Star Wars and Simpsons ones. We currently have two classic Monopolies, one from the 60's with the wooden houses and hotels, and a "standard" modern one, plus the Star Wars and Simpsons ones. Simpson's Monopoly missed too many oppertunities. I think "Go to Jail" should have a picture of Cheif Wiggum, and the dude in Jail should be Side Show Bob or Snake. Also, most movers you'd want aren't there (like a Mr. Burns in an old car, or most of the family members). Also, a lot of the cards don't have particularly good pictures (the best one is Mr. Burns fainting from the $20 tax refund, but there aren't many inside jokes like that). z28in82 #17 Posted June 20, 2006 I know we are double digit in our Monopoly collection(sounds redundant on some level) but I guess this is one more to add to the list
moycon #18 Posted June 20, 2006 You know I've never played a game of Monopoly beyond a game I played when I was like 10 years old that got cut way short because my friend was showing me how to play and we started arguing for some reason and his folks made me leave. JB #19 Posted June 20, 2006 I used to love Monopoly. Could never get anyone to play with me because the game ran too long, though. ... That and big fights erupted over who got to use the dog, until it was lost.
z28in82 #20 Posted June 20, 2006 Hell, I never had anyone who would play monopoly with me as a kid so I played the PC and NES version for hours(cause that was about how long a game lasted) Couldn't imagine growing up not playing Monopoly, how else would I have killed all those useless days of my youth? z28in82 #21 Posted June 20, 2006 That and big fights erupted over who got to use the dog, until it was lost. I hated the dog, always wanted to be the race car or the battleship. made those "cool" race car noises as I drove around the board. Looking back I was one helluva dork as a kid. Not much has changed *VVVVRRRRRRROOOOMMMMMMMMMM*
