Lord-Chaos #1 Posted June 16, 2006 I once asked for which system this cart could be : I'm still not sure. I think I have 3 or 4 of these carts, got them from someone who sold ATARI, Nintendo and SEGA games.Usually PAL stuff, of course. Does anyone know for sure what this is? Does someone have a system to test this cart, to see what game is on it? Thimo
figgler #2 Posted June 16, 2006 (edited) This is a pirated Famicom cartridge. You'd either need a Famicom (obviously) or a Fammy adaptor to get it to run on a standard NES. There are few famiclones out there now that play both NES and Famicom carts sans adaptor, so if you could grab one of those you could check it out Edited June 16, 2006 by figgler
PacManPlus #3 Posted June 16, 2006 It *looks* to me like a Famicom Cartridge, but I'm sure someone must have already mentioned it and/or you thought of that already... I have the 'Generation NEX' so it can take US NES releases and the overseas Famicom releases as well. If we lived closer together we could have tried it Bob

figgler #5 Posted June 16, 2006 Why did they put Scotty Dogs into Rally X? Because it's awesome. Scotty X anyone?
Ze_ro #6 Posted June 16, 2006 Someone posted the exact same picture a year or two back, with the same question... At the time, I was curious as to why this game appears to be Rally X, despite the fact that I'm pretty sure Rally X was never released for the NES or Famicom (even in pirate form). So, does anyone know what the game on this cartridge actually is? No one seemed to have any idea last time. --Zero

Maybe a multicart.I don't have a Famicom, only a normal PAL NES and no adaptors. I have 3 or 4 copies of this cart, does anyone have a system to play this mystery game? PacManPlus #9 Posted June 16, 2006 (edited) Hey Thimo: If you don't find anyone let me know - If you want to send it to me, I'll give it a try. Not sure if you want to sell it, or have me try it and sent it back... Whatever you prefer. Bob Edited June 16, 2006 by PacManPlus

Bob If you pay for shipping, you can keep the cartridge, but please tell me and everyone what's on the cart. I doubt that it is something special. Probably a hacked or pirated game or maybe some Asian homebrew attempt. Thimo
PacManPlus #11 Posted July 9, 2006 Hey Everyone! After acquiring this cart from Lord-Chaos and trying it in my 'Generation NEX', I can say for sure that it *is* a Rally-X clone. You can tell by the pictures below. The mazes seem to be different that the arcade, but it plays the same. Does anybody here know more of it's origin? Is it some sort of homebrew? The game is fun, but a little difficult. The cars reverse direction at will and seem to know the shortest route to get to you.

Lord-Chaos #13 Posted August 6, 2006 Ok, we know that this is a "Rally X" Clone from Asia now. I do have 6 copies of the game left. Is anyone interested? Where are the NES collectors? Thimo
n8littlefield #14 Posted August 7, 2006 Are there any actual scotty dogs in the game? That might sweeten the deal a bit.
yuppicide #15 Posted August 7, 2006 There was a Rally-X released for Famicom. Just look at the one in the Jakks Pacific joystick. I've also had Rally-X on multicarts before.
