phaxda #8 Posted June 27, 2006 It really depends on your personal taste--there are SO MANY NES games to choose from in so many categories. Here are the games I have and like, in rough order of how great they are: Tetris Ice Hockey Double Dribble R.C. Pro-Am Faxanadu Rad Racer Golf Zeldas Wizards and Warriors I & II Castlevania RBI Baseball Kirby I have some others, but these are the ones I play most. Mostly because they are the ones I played as a kid. Lately I am playing TONS of R.C. Pro-Am. I love this game!

LeafsFan47 #14 Posted June 27, 2006 My brother and I were always playing Ice Hockey, Elevator Action, and Defender II. And my brother-in-law constantly played Kid Icarus (fear the eggplant!) and the Mega Man games.
figgler #15 Posted June 27, 2006 I'm just here to say hi to LeafsFan47. Go Leafs Go! oh, and a little game called Legacy of the Wizard has been an apple of my eye for 15 years. Go buy it
+FujiSkunk #16 Posted June 27, 2006 Arguable the best port of Arkanoid is on the NES, particularly if you have the paddle controller to go with it. Besides other games already listed, I'm also partial to the NES port of Sky Shark.
+atari2600land #17 Posted June 27, 2006 Arguable the best port of Arkanoid is on the NES, particularly if you have the paddle controller to go with it. So you can play NES Arkanoid with a regular controller?
figgler #18 Posted June 27, 2006 So you can play NES Arkanoid with a regular controller? It works, but it's much clunkier and more difficult

+atari2600land #20 Posted June 27, 2006 kirbys adventure zelda 1,2 metroid snow bros pac mania contra ninja turtles games I have the tmnt games and hate them. but there is a zelda 2? I need it! Zelda 2's subtitle is "The Adventures of Link." It says "Adventures of Link" on the cartridge and doesn't say anything about it being a sequel to Legend of Zelda, even though it is. StanJr #22 Posted June 28, 2006 it is also gold like the first one, most of the time. The label does say "Zelda II" on it. And there is a nice looking sword.
+atari2600land #23 Posted June 28, 2006 (edited) it is also gold like the first one, most of the time. The label does say "Zelda II" on it. And there is a nice looking sword. Mine just says "The Adventures of Link" with a sword. Also, my actual cartridge itself is gray. There are 2 different carts.
