Classic Gaming Stores in Maryland

Recommended Posts

Do you know of any classic gaming stores near the Edgewater area? I know of a place that sells Atari 2600 games for 4.99 each or 3 for 10 dollars in Downtown Annapolis named Bowie Toy Company. I know there is a Game Crazy in Serverna Park, but I don't know if it sells older games. I tried looking in google and yahoo, but I kept getting articles about some ESRB law instead of what I was looking for.

Starland used to have some stores in Maryland, including Bowie, which is close to you, but I think they're all closed now. You could truck on down to Annandale VA to their shop there.

Pandora's Cube might also have some stuff, but to be honest, Atari games are pretty hard to find in anything other than thrift stores these days.

Ebay.

I'm not just looking for Atari games, I'm looking for Intellivision, NES, older GB, and other older games too. That's why this isn't in the 2600 forum. I can always order online from Atariage or Atari2600.com too, but I still would like to find a physical store. I'm not looking for places that closed down. I found enough of those in outdated phone books.

Anyway, does the GameCrazy in Severna Park sell older games? I heard that some do, but I would like to know for certain if the one in Severna Park does.

Ebay is definatly an option, but some sellers charge too much for shipping (sometimes as much as 6 dollars for a loose game) and they can be hit or miss. Anyway, I didn't start this topic to simply ask where I can find games. I know of plenty of online sellers like best electronics, 4jays, atari2600.com, Trade 'n Games, atariage (of course!), etc. that sell them online. I'm looking for stores in MD, not as a replacement for the online stores, but for a physical place where I can browse and look for games.

Thanks anyway, though. I'll definatly look into that Pandora's Cube place.

If you want to know about the store in Severna Park, why are you posting here instead of calling them and asking them, or visiting? :)

Becuase this is a classic gaming site and I wanted to ask here first before calling or visiting.
