hex65000 #1 Posted July 4, 2006 I was out today and happened across a non greatest hits Namco Museum 1. The thing that I don't understand is that it has the same cover as the greatest hits version (except for the black background) . I was expecting a big letter 'N' like there is on the CD.(and like on 2,4 & 5) Are there three versions of this out there or what? Sadly, the back paperwork is pretty munged up, but the manual and disc look good. Also found the Buster Bros. compilation too. Life is good. Hex. [ May wind up sounding stupid, but I just don't know... ]
z28in82 #2 Posted July 4, 2006 Sounds like someone put a GH in a non-GH case. Our Namco 1 has the N on a white sidk just like all the other ones.
+FujiSkunk #3 Posted July 4, 2006 When it became clear which volumes were selling and which ones weren't, Namco re-issued volumes 1 and 3 with flashier artwork, removing the big "n" and "m" that were on the original editions. This was before the "Greatest Hits" editions were released, which means those two volumes each have three different packagings.
CosmicJoke #4 Posted July 4, 2006 (edited) Three variations were released. The original with the big 'N'. The Greatest Hits 4-part design and the one you have, a non-Greatest Hits 4-part design. edit Whoops, looks like my information was a little too late.
