[d2f]Iggy*SJB #1 Posted July 4, 2006 I just won it. 23 carts, a couple of doubles. There are a couple of titles in there I want, and I'll probably resell the rest. Pretty common ones, so nothing special. I'm only wanting games I'll get some use out of. If I break even(pro-rated for the ones I'm keeping), I'll be happy. In any case, for less than $1 a game, I'd say it was decent.
AtariJr #2 Posted July 4, 2006 which ones were the ones you were looking for. Im not sure about the wizard one, but besides dragonfire everything else seemed pretty common stuff. of course some of them didnt have labels so i donno.
[d2f]Iggy*SJB #3 Posted July 4, 2006 Wizard of Wor was the one that caught my eye. Dig Dug is another one I wanted. I want to give Demons to Diamonds and Journey Escape a try, also. That leaves a bunch of commons left over, but someone might want/need them.
orangest #4 Posted July 4, 2006 crash dive isn't so common...
shadow460 #5 Posted July 5, 2006 You got a good deal there in Crash Dive. It's not a killer app, but it's quite playable. Don't expect much from Journey Escape or Demons to Diamonds.
[d2f]Iggy*SJB #6 Posted July 7, 2006 I guess I'm a bit looser of a collector, than most people. I mostly want games I can play, and enjoy. I was watching a "stargate" auction, and considered getting it....but I'm not sure it's something I would get any use out of(plus, I'm low on cash). The last cart I won on e-bay, was Carnival(which I posted about)...and I absolutely love the game, even though it doesn't have the "bonus" levels. I'm going to try out all of the games, first to make sure they work, and secondly to see if any of the other ones are games I would enjoy. I guess being not only "old school", but kinda on the poor side, makes a difference. I would like to have a massive collection(as many of you do)...but I don't have the financial ability to do so. I'm content to have games I enjoy playing, and get some use out of. I'll let you all know what games don't fly with me, and maybe we can work something out. A game I would love to get my hands on, is "Elevator Action". I almost won this via e-bay earlier this year. I wasn't home when it ended, but such is life. Thanks for the input, all!
