ubersaurus #1 Posted June 5, 2002 How much would you people say a complete Robotron cabinet/game/marquee etc. would sell for? My friend got offered 800 bucks to buy this guys, and he wants to know if its worth it.
Tempest #2 Posted June 5, 2002 If it's in good shape I'd say it's worth it. Robotron is one of those popular machines like Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man that are still worth alot of money. I want one myself so I can turn it into a Cloak & Dagger machine. Tempest

Big Player #4 Posted June 5, 2002 Robotron *drool* quoteI want one myself so I can turn it into a Cloak & Dagger machine. Ah no, I'll have nightmares for weeks!
Tempest #5 Posted June 5, 2002 I'll take Cloak & Dagger over Robotron any day. Robotron is too repeatative for my tastes. The problem with C&D is that you have to convert a Robotron, Stargate, or Defender machine and those are all very expensive. BTW the machine looks good to me. Go for it! Cassidy Nolen #6 Posted June 5, 2002 If its the original glass, that is a good deal. I sell restored ones for around a grand, and that is with aftermarket underlays and repro marquees and CP overlays. They are a bear to keep running with the original power supplies, but a switcher makes it all the better. No mid-game drop out. 8 is a good price. I would ask for 9 and settle for 850. Big Player #7 Posted June 6, 2002 Tempest Nothing against Cloak and Dagger. It's just that Robotron is the best game ever IMO. To think about a Robotron cabinet getting "killed" when I don't own one. . . Looks like I'll have to go back to reading Stephen King novels before I go to sleep.
