muahahahahaha, THEY LIVE! After combining the horizontal and vertical scrolling techniques from the other code tests, I've been able to make smooth scrolling produce a nice silky smooth march both horizontally, and vertically.. the march ends once the invaders have marched all the way to the bottom of the screen.....
