You definitely can't go wrong with these titles. Games with * are goin to be expensive to get. Best played with a CC2 with an Atari 7800.

I assume you guys would know if River Raid II is better the the first. I looked on atari2600.com (where I get most of my carts) and the screen shots seemed to look more interesting on the 2nd. Just wanted to know what you guys thought.

River Raid II is a lot harder to play. I gave up before I got the hang of it. River Raid (the original) is great!

Pheonix & Planet Patrol are two great games that come to mind.

 

Kaboom! is pretty fun if you like Paddle Controller games. Beat em' and Eat Em' is pretty much the same type of game, but it's for "Adults Only".

no unfortunately, I got my Atari at the very end of the life cycle growing up. That was the newest games at the time I got mine. Got a 7800 for Xmas of 1988, almost 1989. Missed alot of the older games for the system. Have been buying them now, especially since I've learned all about them from here.lol

space master x-7. why... great difficulty ramp. infinitely challenging. infinitely addicting. great GREAT zen when u get in the groove. I love a game I can't beat, but can still get further and further in. also graphics and sound do exactly what they should, perfect.

For sheer challenge I agree with you on Jr Pacman but for the casual gamer it could prove to be a little too frustrating
