SomeGuyWithDSL #1 Posted July 16, 2006 I don't do much Sega Master System shopping ... at all. I found a Monopoly cart this afternoon, though, that caught my eye because it was labeled "Mono Poly." Did they all leave the factory this way, or did Sega catch the error and fix it in later runs? Any idea of the relative scarcity of the two, if it was ever fixed? Tempest #2 Posted July 17, 2006 I have both labels. I think the Mono Poly label is rarer, but I'm not sure. The name really sounds strange when you put a space in it. Mono Poly.... Single Many... Odd... Tempest
Shannon #3 Posted July 17, 2006 Yes it does exist, and it's more than just the box that is affected by this spelling error.
anagrama #4 Posted July 21, 2006 It's just the first pressing of 50,000 copies that have the 'Mono Poly' label - these ones also contain a hidden credits screen that was nixed from later runs after Sega discovered it.
