Yes there probably is but as Human beings we are a pretty selfish and self centered lot and possession is always nine-tenths of the law no matter which side of the fence you are happening to be standing on Yes that is true!! But I figured that some people might want to help a kid out, someone who is just breaking ground in a hobby that they know and love, I thought they might get some satisfaction out of knowing they helped someone, but I guess I was wrong!!!!! C'mon. 13 years old or not, you can't get bent out of shape because no one wants to "donate". Those dupes are worth some cash ya know. Maybe if you sweetened the pot just a little bit, say .50 or .75 per duplicate, you may get more responses as others might have pity on your shallow financial situation. There is always an allowance or paper route!

+atari2600land #7 Posted July 17, 2006 I bet you've already tried this, but used video game stores might have Atari 2600 games, even though they might not be in view. I called a used video game store to see if they had Atari 2600 games, and they did, and when I got there, I didn't see any, and as soon as I mentioned I was the guy that called about the 2600 games, he got this box full of them out. I got 4 that day.

Hey man I wasn't being mean, just very pessimistic but then thats me My advice check out the goodwill stores or ebay for you will find some great bargains at rock bottom prices. Most of the time the only way to get help is by helping yourself, sad but very true
Deteacher #9 Posted July 18, 2006 I'm not trying to be a smartie here, but hbomb has a good point. You can earn some money very easily, especially since you're out of school for the summer. Mow lawns, walk dogs, sell lemonade, do chores around the house. You could probably get all the driving games for the Atari after mowing one person's lawn. I used to mow lawns to earn extra cash. Most of that $$ either went into Atari carts or directly into the arcades. Man, those were great days! Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life. Godzilla #10 Posted July 18, 2006 give a man a fish, you've got him hooked. sell fish to him every day after that. teach him to fish and you're an idiot who has destroyed your market.
Crazy Climber #11 Posted July 18, 2006 I may have a few dupes with shitty labels you could probably have, I'll have to dig them out and it's not that many but I would expect you to at least pay shipping. If you live in or near MN you could come mow my lawn for them, LOL Sorry, couldn't resist, but seriously I'll see what I have and PM you.

Ignoring for the moment that you're whining about not getting any offers after begging for free games, your first two posts are only 76 minutes apart! This is not a chat room, it's a message forum. Do not ever expect instant gratification in a forum such as this - on many such forums all over the internet, 24 hours to first reply would be considered as being very fast. Lord Helmet #17 Posted July 20, 2006 I would say you should play them in emulation until you've saved up enough cash to pick up the carts you want. Then post in the Wanted forum. I'm sure you could pick up the kind of titles you are looking for for $2-$5 a piece plus shipping
