SomeGuyWithDSL #1 Posted July 19, 2006 You know, the Nintendo Power ad with the My Nintendo registration code on the back? I got mine secondhand without one and need to find a complete one, if so.

I don't think it did. I must say I'm not 100% confident, but I'm pretty sure. What do you need the codes for? Just collecting? They don't actually do anything worth while like in Japan do they? Flojomojo #3 Posted July 20, 2006 I think you get a few free issues of Nintendo Power if you register 3 games. There's nothing else particularly worthwhile about them. The First Hunt demo was a freebie with the DS hardware, and the only registration code you got was the serial number on the console itself.
AtariJr #4 Posted July 20, 2006 the only thing ive gotten was 3 mags of N Power. If its the Demo of Hunters you shouldnt have a slip in there anyway, only the full version has the number... maybe thats why you dont have it. Also, you have to also remember, only Nintendo made (no 3rd party) games have those slips in there. I have tons of games, but not enough of them are made by nintendo themselves to actually accumulate enough points to really get anything worthwhile from registering the codes. So if you dont find a slip that isnt registered already, you really probably arent missing much
SomeGuyWithDSL #5 Posted July 20, 2006 I just wanted it for completeness. For all the first-party games that include one, the insert is custom printed for that particular game (i.e. Bowser in his Kart is on the cover of the Mario Kart DS insert). I guess I consider it to be as much a part of a "complete" game as any originally included extras like a map or poster. All the other pack-in games came with one, so I thought maybe the MPH demo did as well (since I got the game secondhand). Thanks for your replies. As for the code on the back, all it does here in the US is let you officially register the game on Nintendo.com in your account. On an EXTREMELY rare basis, NOA will actually send a little trinket out to registered owners of a particular game or system. That's how some people got the Kirby stylus (for registering Canvas Curse) and I assume that's how I got the Brain Age stylus that Nintendo sent me. But there is no "points" system like NOJ has, unfortunately.

Remember unlike the other pack in games, this is a DEMO, so its not a full game, hence no slip. Id totally recommend the full version, its a good game, but youll get your but kicked online, there are people who for some reason dont die no matter how much you think you shoot them lol.
