Crazy Climber #1 Posted July 27, 2006 What if you got to pick one thing for your collection that you would receive free of charge, what would it be? I don't mean the most expensive thing you can think of to re-sell. I mean one thing you would actually want in your collection but cant find it or afford it right now. It's fun to hear what the most sought after items are for different people. I'll start it off with a complete Gauntlet by Answer for the 2600, man that would be cool. What about you guys. keilbaca #11 Posted July 27, 2006 Mine would have to be either a DDR Extreme arcade machine or Marvel vs Capcom 2 arcade. If I got either one of those, I'd play it nonstop.
Pixelboy #12 Posted July 27, 2006 A Dragon's Lair arcade machine.
Atarifever #13 Posted July 27, 2006 An After Burner sit down cabinate. There's one in an arcade a few minutes from my house, but they usually have it unhooked.
phaxda #14 Posted July 27, 2006 One thing I would like--but can't really justify the cost of--is a Starcon controller for my 5200 collection. Over $200 for a controller is kinda steep. Wish I'd bought one when Fred had them for sale so long ago, but I though the original price (I think it was $80!) was kinda steep too! I'll just have to live without. SteveW #22 Posted July 27, 2006 I'd like a Neo-Geo unit, either the arcade cab, or the home version. Either that, or a copy of the unreleased Activision game Dead Heat. It was supposed to be released for PS2/Xbox/GameCube/GBA, but got the axe fairly far along. I love the idea of a driving game/zombie survival horror game combination. Then Activision killed off development, because they said that it didn't look like it would be a big enough seller. In other words, if it's not going to sell as well as Halo, they don't want to bother.
Draikar #23 Posted July 27, 2006 I would love a Compaq Deskpro 286 with monitor, I just can't find one. But if your talking about more into games stuff I would say a Nintendo 64 DD with original blue box packaging by Nintendo, I sometimes see them but never when I had the cash. I'd have to say a complete Sony Net Yaroze! I hate I didn't buy one when they were released. I was single then and could have gotten one.
