carpecarne #4 Posted August 3, 2006 No no, the ultimate answer is...42! But in all honesty, I think gaming consoles have hit a "bit" ceiling of 32. Some have gone 64, like the N64 and Jaguar, but I think people have realized that there are more important aspects to gaming technology than the width of the memory addresses. Ze_ro #5 Posted August 3, 2006 A monk asked the Atari masters, "Has the Dreamcast the 128-bit nature?" Replied the Atari masters, "Mu". --Zero

shadow460 #9 Posted August 4, 2006 The best port of Hydro Thunder is on the Dreamcast. If that's not enough to make you run out and buy one right now, then know that the best Crazy Taxi port is also available for it. If that doesn't make you want to run out and buy a Dreamcast right now, then you must need to be tied up and buried in marbles for a fortnight.
liveinabin #10 Posted August 4, 2006 LOL, you're dead right. Hydro Thunder and Crazy Taxi are just superb on the DC. Both better than their arcade counterparts.

Both better than their arcade counterparts. ehhh... maybe control was better, but the graphics for hydro thunder were better in the arcade, esp the water effects... i think he means the best port out of dreamcasts, psone, and n64... Flojomojo #12 Posted August 4, 2006 Hydro Thunder is OK on the Dreamcast, but San Francisco Rush 2049 is just terrific, especially with a VGA box. Everyone needs Hydro Thunder, Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, and SF Rush 2049. Of course, Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (PS2/XBOX/Cube) has 2 of those games, and Soul Calibur 2 (also on those 3 systems) is almost as good as the Dreamcast version.
