roll the bones #1 Posted August 2, 2006 (edited) Trying to get rid of some items I've had laying around my house for a while. I have an Atari 2600 system with a single joystick and paddles. The paddles don't seem to be working for me but maybe they can be fixed - I don't know. Also included are 26 games along with the instruction manuals. Some of the games don't work when I put them in the console. Not sure if this anything that can be remedied or not. These are the carts that I verified do work. Super Breakout Space Invaders Combat QBert Ms. Pac Man Joust Centipede Kangaroo Pac Man Video Pinball Yar's Revenge Fishing Derby Pitfall River Raid Stampede Everything is stored in the case seen in the pics below. PM or email me ([email protected]) with an offer. Edited September 9, 2006 by roll the bones

shadow460 #4 Posted August 12, 2006 (edited) Very handy storage unit you've got there. Isn't it a Sears model? IIRC, the Sears one had a gold stripe and the Atari storage center has a black stripe (at least mine does). Also, someone here was looking for that particular kind of storage center recently. I also can't help but notice the Yars' Revenge comic book in there. Edited August 12, 2006 by shadow460

CGQuarterly #7 Posted September 9, 2006 BUMP Still available. Anyone interested at all? You might have more luck if you waited about 2 months or so and then put it on eBay for the Christmas crowd. That is a very nice set you have there, but most AAers are going to already have an Atari and those games. If I were just wanting to start collecting Atari, however, I would be all over that. Those games all look to be in very nice condition. Chris
A.J. Franzman #8 Posted September 9, 2006 The paddles don't seem to be working for me but maybe they can be fixed - I don't know. Did you try the paddle controllers with Super Breakout? That's the only paddle controller game you have in there. Those games all look to be in very nice condition. Agreed; the Activision and Parker Brothers labels don't hold up as well as others with heavy use, and Activision's poor choice of label adhesive is well known for "actiplaque" spotting (which only your Enduro seems to suffer from to more than a minor degree). shadow460 #9 Posted September 10, 2006 Yeah, look at his Megamania and then look at the rest--I didn't notice Enduro, but all the other carts look very clean. Megamania is the worst title I've seen for Actiplaque, and even the one pictured there has only a little of it. I'm also shocked no one's bought this--that comic book is not easy to get. A.J. Franzman #10 Posted September 10, 2006 I'm also shocked no one's bought this--that comic book is not easy to get. Which one, Yars' Revenge or Centipede? I'm still looking for Centipede myself.
