Messsages in Roms?

Was bored today so I started looking through some of my 2600 roms with a hex editor, in Millipede I found the message "Dave Staugas Loves Beatrice Hablig". Was this something that was added by someone after the rom was dumped or did it exist in the original code? Now I guess I'll spend the better part of the day looking through all my roms seeing what other messages if any I can find

You know come to think about it, I do recall my mother telling me once when I would spend entire weekends, and anytime I wasn't in school, glued to the television playing my Atari, that if I didn't quit spending so much time on those damn games, not only would they rot my brain, but I would also goto hell
