MultiJoy8 Interface Question

I'm hoping that someone who owns or has built a MultiJoy8 interface can answer a question for me (although it's probably a dumb question).

 

I'm thinking about building a MultiJoy8 for myself. This website and the accompanying wiring diagram looks like it has all the information I need EXCEPT the type/value of the capacitor that connects to JOY1 and the 74LS138. I haven't seen it in any of the write-ups I've found, and I'd be grateful if someone could let me know what capacitor I should use (or which ones they've used).

I think this capacitor should be of a small value only, for example 100nF (ceramic).

It is not too important.
