Is static electricty bad for our carts?

Recommended Posts

I ask this because I put my cart and manual in a small zipper top vinal/plastic bag to transport it this morning, and I stuck my hand in there and felt all the static electricty. Can this damage my/our carts in anyway? :ponder:

Possible? Yes. Probable? No. Your cart should be fine.

Ok. Just thought I should check before doing it again. Thanks Shawn.

If an atari rom can stand being boiled, frozen, ran over, and a huge ass magnet, I'm sure it can take some static electricity.

Not to mention the one I found stuck in a tree for like 10 years.

Depends on who made it. You just have to look funny at Bomb carts and they die.
