oops, seems that I have forgotten to tell my location for the list...

Berlin, Germany is my town :)

btw. what does it mean, when my falcon tells me: BAD CRC in chip E and the memory test has XXXXXXXX instead of ---- ?

Maybe 'only' the battery of nvram/clock?

Updated.

About your chip E and memory test issue:

I'd try to reseat the RAM chips or use another ram card (having a spare one).

Else I'd think of a nvram problem as well.

Hey Jens, update my "blurb" a little bit?

I've also got an 80gig IDE hard drive, LiteOn DVD writer, and

the EtherNAT. :)

So it should be:

DarkLord

Prestonsburg, KY USA

CT60 equipped Falcon @ 95 mhz with 14megs ST RAM plus 256 megs SDRAM.

80gig IDE hard drive, LiteOn DVD Writer, and an EtherNAT. This machine

is all Black but only until something -darker- comes along. :D

Thanks!

Done.

For your entry I first thought about black letters on a black background, but those of us who aren't that experienced in reading different shades of black might have had problems with that, so I withdrew... :D

It would have been fine for those of us who still have our "Peril Sensitive Sunglasses"

from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. :)

Added.

I want a Vibravision for years but they don't seem to be easy to find. :D

I once saw one on eBay Germany sold as black ST, but I had no money at that point in time. It went away for about a hundred Euros I think. If I'd been able to lend me the money I'd have tried to get it, exchanged the casing with the one from my Falcon and resold it as Falcon (which it is), and which would have given me my money completely back.

There are no serial numbers in the list as no one thought about this when starting it.

If people want to see serial numbers, just post them, and I'll add them. ;)

If people additionally want to post pictures of their described setups, ask Albert how many characters can be thrown at a posting, as it would be nice to link them in my initial posting, but that's loads of characters.

Btw: At a1k.org they have a 'showroom' in which everyone may open threads to show their setups and discuss related things like upgrades, case-modings, technical problems etc.
