myfriendskiba #1 Posted August 26, 2006 (edited) I have a TI-99/4A computer for sale, the box is quite worn, and foam insert is there and all of the instruction manuals, and two carts; also included is the power brick, but not the computer-to-monitor cable. I don't even know if the unit powers on, but will find out and post pics. PM me if you're interested. entire lot: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j188/victorkh/TI-99-4A.jpg power indicator light: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j188/vic.../TI-99-4A-2.jpg Edited August 28, 2006 by myfriendskiba

VintageVGMR #5 Posted August 30, 2006 I am thinking that without the system being complete people are going to be a bit hesitant to buy it. Try buying the Video cable then show the working system if it in fact works. That might get more interest from people here.

RickHarrisMaine #10 Posted September 1, 2006 I'm no expert, but I would think grabbing any old RF cable would do the trick.
Zwackery #11 Posted September 1, 2006 the ol' TI-99/4A was the first computer my family ever owned...then we went to a Tandy 1000 in 1984...warp speed ahead!
+remowilliams #12 Posted September 1, 2006 I'm no expert, but I would think grabbing any old RF cable would do the trick. Many 5 pin DIN/RCA video cables will work to give you a composite video output. However BE CAREFUL which leads you hook up. The TI puts out +12V on one of those pins (Pin 1?) to power an external RF adapter. So grab a multimeter.

ComputerCollector #18 Posted September 17, 2006 (edited) If nobody buys it here, try selling it at the vintage computer forum: http://www.vintage-computer.com/vcforum/index.php I already have 2 of them in mint condition, with original boxes, styrophoam, etc. Edited September 17, 2006 by ComputerCollector
